Interested in being a member of our team? We are hiring for the following positions:
operations assistant/events coordinator
Position will be Tuesday – Saturday, generally 8 hours a day with some additional hours as needed during busy seasons. Positions will begin full time in May through October with possible part time hours available in the off season. This position will be the team lead on all on farm events and will be required to work all Saturdays when there are events happening on the farm – hours may vary.
This position will be perfect for a detailed oriented, task driven leader. Tuesday-Thursday work will be assisting barn crew with bouquet making and bunching flowers. Thursday – Saturday work will be setting up, managing and preparing for on farm events. As the team lead, the Event Coordinator will be customer facing and lead other employees who are assisting in events. Marketing skills are not necessary, but a wonderful addition to skill set necessary to make this position shine.
Tasks will include: making bouquets, bunching for florists, event setup, working markets and occasionally working on large team tasks for the farm including but not limited to: hand weeding, greenhouse work, transplanting, dahlia digging.
Ideal candidates will have experience in a fast paced job and be willing to multi-task in a changing environment. General ability to enjoy and work in the outdoors daily. Hourly rate starts at $16-18/hour based on experience.
Barn Crew
Position will be part time, Tuesday-Thursday, generally 6-8 hours a day with some additional hours as needed during busy seasons. Additionally, the Barn Crew will be required to work some Saturdays for markets and on farm events. Positions will begin in July through September with possible part time hours available in May, June and November. Daily start time will be 8AM.
Tasks will include: making bouquets, bunching for florists, harvest flowers as needed, cooler management and organization, maintaining harvest records, loading the truck for deliveries, event setup, working markets and occasionally working on large team tasks for the farm including but not limited to: hand weeding, greenhouse work, transplanting, dahlia digging.
Ideal candidates will have experience in a fast paced job and be willing to multi-task in a changing environment. General ability to enjoy and work in the outdoors daily. Hourly rate starts at $14-$16/hour based on experience.
