A Designer’s Choice Wedding at Gervasi Vineyard

We had a lovely couple approach us about an A La Carte wedding with any colors or flowers we would like, say what?! A La Carte weddings are technically defined as a wedding where we do all of the wearables (bridal bouquet, boutonnieres, etc.) and maybe some other installation or ceremony pieces, but not the entire wedding (which would make it full service) where we provide all the floral designing along with delivery and set up.

A lot of brides chose Bloom Hill Farm as their wedding florist for this reason. We are unique in the way that we offer Grower’s Choice Buckets that come with 55 stems of flowers or foliage in them which cuts your floral budget way down and gives you the opportunity to make your own centerpieces if you like!

The Wechsler’s came to us with some of our favorite words: Designer’s Choice. It means what it says… we chose! She had no set color scheme and wasn’t afraid of bright colors which made it even better for this July wedding.

In July our farm is booming with yellow sunflowers, colorful zinnias, dreamy lisianthus and fun complimentary flowers like chocolate ammi, celosia, snapdragons, and more.

When Rachel came to us and said, “go for it, do whatever you want!” we were so excited to show off what was seasonally growing in Northeast Ohio. We made her flower crown, his boutonniere, and her bridal bouquet. Along with a beautiful altar spray that had an array of colors and textures fresh from the farm to Gervasi Vineyard for their special day.

We had so much fun being creative in the Studio for this creative couple and were blessed to play a small part in their special day.
